(PCM) World Wrestling Entertainment has been known for it’s outrageous storylines and bigger than life characters in and outside the squared circle. WWE has also been known to set records. Case in point setting an all-time attendance record back in 1987 at the Pontiac Silverdome in Detroit with 93,173 WWE fans filled the venue for WrestleMania 3. On April 3rd 2016 WWE broke its own attendance record at WrestleMania 32 with 101,763 at the AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas.
This Sunday night live on the WWE Network, WWE will go forth and try to break another boundary. For the first time since its inception Hell in the Cell will feature a women’s match as one of its main events. Hell in the Cell will take place on October 30th in Boston. Hell in Cell will feature three main events inside the demonic structure. Roman Reigns versus Rusev for the United States Title, WWE Universal Title Match: Kevin Owens Versus Seth Rollins, and RAW Women’s Title Match: Sasha Banks Versus Charlotte.
Sasha Banks is the hometown girl from Boston and looks more than ready to face Charlotte. It will be interesting to see if the Women’s Title Match is the last match on the card.
Raw General Manager Mick Foley had hinted on Facebook that the Women would end the shoe, but his post was quickly taken down. Some people have been asking if the Women’s match will be the main event, but sources within WWE have been quiet and saying that decision will be made the day of the show. If that were to happen it shows a lack of planning on WWE’s part to promote the proper main event. I would personally love to see the women end the show. They have definitely earned their spot.
Also appearing on the card: Raw Tag Team Champions The New Day vs. Cesaro & Sheamus, Enzo Amore & Big Cass vs Luke Gallows & Karl Anderson, WWE Cruiserweight Champion TJ Perkins vs. Brian Kendrick.
