(PCM) Warner Bros. has announced that their upcoming adaption of author Stephen King’s famed novel ‘It’ will be released on September 8, 2017. The film will follow the story line of seven children living in Derry and will be divided into two parts, one showing them as children and the other as adults.
Originally, director Cary Fukunaga was attached to the project, however after dealing with some major creative differences with the studio, Fukunaga dropped out and has now been replaced with director Andres Muschietti. Production on the film is slated to begin later this summer.
Actor Will Poulter was slated to take on the role of Pennywise the clown in the upcoming remake, however it appears he has now been forced to drop out of the film due to a scheduling conflict. Sources indicate now that the studio is currently meeting with other actors to see who best fits the part of the terrifying villain.
