(PCM) Ellen Degeneres, star of Pixar’s highly-anticipated sequel to 2003’s Finding Nemo, debuted the latest full-length trailer for Finding Dory on Ellen today.
The latest trailer runs just longer than a minute-and-a-half and includes new footage from the June 17th release.
Taking place about six months after Finding Nemo, Finding Dory follows everyone’s favorite forgetful fish as she searches for her family and original home after years of not being able to remember anything about her origins.
Of course, Nemo and his dad Marlin embark on this adventure with Dory, setting out into the open sea in search of Dory’s past.
Ellen DeGeneres (Dory), Albert Brooks (Marlin) and the Tank Gang all return for the sequel, with Eugene Levy and Diane Keaton voicing Dory’s parents. Willem Dafoe, Dominic West, Ty Burrell, and Idris Elba also star in the sequel.
Unfortunately the original Nemo, now 12 years old, sounds too old to have reprised his role as the loveable lost fish, so he has a small cameo in Finding Dory instead, with Hayden Rolence voicing Nemo.
Finding Nemo director Andrew Stanton returns to helm the sequel written by Victoria Strouse (New Best Friend).
