(PCM) Filmmaker Martin Guigui announced the lead roles of the feature film, “Nine Eleven”. Golden Globe winner Charlie Sheen and Academy Award winner Whoopi Goldberg lead the cast of the action-drama, which depicts the powerful story of five individuals trapped in an elevator in the World Trade Center on September 11, 2001 and their heroic struggle to survive. Industry veterans Luis Guzman and Wood Harris along with Olga Fonda also join the cast.
“Guigui and Golebiowski have been working the story development of this incredible project, and have delivered a powerful story around the most infamous day in modern U.S. history. Thunder Studios is proud to co-produce Nine Eleven and we are excited to have such incredible talent both in front and behind the camera,” said Rodric David, CEO of Thunder Studios.
Sheen’s manager and industry veteran, Mark Burg will serve as executive producer, along with Mr. David as well as Ryan Johnson, with Martin Sprock, Dahlia Waingort and Warren Ostergard producing. Good Universe is handling international sales.

“Nine Eleven” is currently in production and will be shot entirely at Thunder Studios, taking advantage of the studio’s full suite of facilities in Long Beach. Thunder Studios co-producing with Sprockerfeller Pictures, Vitamin A Films and Sunset Pictures in partnership with director Guigui, who penned the script with Steven Golebiowski.
